2023 Boston Bruins betting odds: Stanley Cup, Pastrnak, and more
The Boston Bruins centennial season kicks off tonight against the Chicago Blackhawks. The B’s enter the season with a new captain and plenty of new faces. Jim Montgomery is back behind the bench after a record-breaking season and first round exit.
The team has plenty of talent and built strong on the blue line and goal tending. The loss of Patrice Bergeron and David Krejci creates an opening for a young center to develop. Gone are Taylor Hall and Nick Foligno. The trade deadline additions, Tyler Bertuzzi and Dmitry Orlov, were not retained. In comes the return of Milan Lucic and veteran James van Riemsdyk.
I would expect a step back with this year’s team, but they could surprise some teams, and the odds reflect that. If you think they won’t make the playoffs, you can bet that at +235. One bet I would stay away from is President’s Trophy. Most teams should stay far way from that thing. The Bruins may not break any records this season, but there are some intriguing odds heading to the season at DraftKings. (Disclosure: I am a compensated endorser of DraftKings.)
Let’s take a look at some of the season bets for the black and gold.
