The NFL Season is moving along and entering the 3rd week of the season. One matchup I’m looking at this week is The Vikings and Chargers. Something has to give. Both teams are 0-2, a loss for either could put one coach on the hot seat & out of the playoffs.
Monday night features the only 2-0 matchup between Tampa Bay and the Eagles. Can the Jets force the Patriots into an 0-3 start? That game has the lowest total on the board. The Dolphins play their first home game and could start out 3-0. Dallas can take control on the NFC with a win over Arizona.
Are the Saints for real? They go on the road to Green Bay with the North wide open. The Chiefs are 13 point favorites and host Justin Fields and the Bears at 0-2. We also see a super bowl rematch between the Bengals and Rams. Joe Burrow is hurting and looking for his first win. Another divisional matchup is the Jaguars hosting the Texans.
Line Movement– Last week, plenty of games came down to the number. The Saints were -2.5 all week and closed at 3 points. Some had the 49ers at -7.5, the Rams to kick a meaningless field goal to cover. The Packers were +1.5 and escaped with a cover in the loss. The Vikings were +6.5 all week, the line moved a half point before kickoff. Look for your best line now or before kickoff.
