Celtics work out 26-year-old forward ahead of training camp
Fourth-year forward Gary Clark recently worked out for the Boston Celtics, as reported by Emiliano Carchia of Sportando. Forbes’ Chris Grenham confirmed Carchia’s report, but added that Clark and the team haven’t agreed to a deal.
Clark, 26, has played three seasons in the NBA and has already played for four teams. He’s played 69 games for the Houston Rockets, 59 for the Orlando Magic, and two each for the Denver Nuggets and Philadelphia 76ers.
The 6-foot-6, 225-pound Clark has averaged 18 minutes per game in 132 total contests. Offensively, he has posted averages of 3.2 blocks and 2.6 rebounds. That amounts to 8.2 points and 6.6 rebounds per 36 minutes.
Celtics players are expected to report for training camp on Thursday, Sept. 28.
