BOSTON – The Red Sox used a six-run fifth inning to steamroll the Cleveland Indians 12-5 in a Memorial Day matinee at Fenway Park.

Sandy Leon’s three-run home run capped off the inning and put the game away for Boston.

J.D. Martinez homered twice. Jackie Bradley Jr. had a two-RBI day and Brock Holt drove in a run in his return from the injured list.

Xander Bogaerts, Mookie Betts, and Rafael Devers also drove in runs.

The Sox trailed 3-0 early, but Rick Porcello settled in to his outing and gave the Sox a competitive start. The righty went 6 2/3 innings, allowed five runs (three earned) on eight hits.
