  • Two months away from the 2022 NFL Draft, teams are already deep into scouting talent at the collegiate level. That even includes local powerhouse Boston College, where at least one potential first-round pick is leaving the school for the NFL Draft.

Here are a few Boston College prospects to keep an eye on ahead of the draft.

  • Zion Johnson, OL

Johnson showed capable interior ability this season, with the ability to pull and move laterally as a slimmer guard. Johnson works well in the run game and offers positional versatility.

As a two-time member of the All-ACC First Team, Lindstrom is a fundamentally sound blocker in the run game and has patience as a pass-blocker. His competitive nature also stands out with scouts.

As the son of former Patriot and current Titans head coach Mike Vrabel, Tyler is making his own name for himself on the gridiron. He intimidates in the run game with aggressiveness and is a versatile pass blocker on either side of the line based on his solid footwork.

  • Trae Barry, TE

After injuries and transfers left Barry’s future uncertain, a tight-end friendly offense at Chestnut Hill put Barry on track. Barry hauled in four touchdowns with the Eagles in 2021 and could fit in well as a pass-catching tight end with his 6-foot-7 frame.

  • Brandon Sebastian, CB

Sebastian’s growth paid off throughout his Boston College career, capping off his senior year with a career-high four interceptions. Sebastian plays better in zone coverage and possesses a great ability to play the ball in the air. He offers a capable addition to a secondary at the next level.

  • Ben Petrula, OL

As Boston College is accustomed to, Petrula offers yet another offensive lineman looking to make the jump to the NFL. Petrula has a good build at 6-foot-5 and 325 pounds. His strength as an interior blocker will drive his draft stock.
