Felger & Mazz

Felger & Mazz

Prior to Paul Perrilo’s stint with Felger and Mazz on Wednesday, a caller compared Mac Jones to former Patriots QB, Drew Bledsoe. Perillo, who Felger referred to as the “President of the Boo-Hoo Drew Crew”, weighed in on the topic to show some love to Bledsoe.

Paul Perillo: I have a bone to pick with you right off the top. What an unbelievable troll job by you.

    Felger: On what front?

Paul Perillo: You know, it’s like 330. 335. You know I’m on my way and you give a Mac Jones vs Drew Bledsoe.

Felger: Who do you got, Bledsoe or Mac Jones? Who do you got?

Paul Perillo: Come on. That’s not even a comparison.

    Felger: It’s not?

    Paul Perillo: No,.

Felger: Mac Jones is that much better?

    Paul Perillo: Please?

Jim Murray: You think Mac Jones could have done what he did in that Vikings game in ’94? Or like the shootout with Marino down in Miami? Mac Jones couldn’t do that. And again, I hate Bledsoe and I’m saying this.

Paul Perillo: Lot of flaws. I know that I am like, lot of flaws to his game.

Felger: You are the president of the “Boo-Hoo Drew Crew”.

Paul Perillo: You’re trying to tell me like….

Mazz: I think you’re both idiots.

Paul Perillo: What does everybody say about Mac Jones? “Well, if everything is in place and everything is perfect, he could do it”. Bledsoe didn’t have any of that. The offense was all on his shoulders. The ’94 team that he dragged to ten wins…

    Felger: Ben Coates?

Paul Perillo: That’s it! Like go and look at the running game.

Felger: That’s a Hall of Fame tight end.

Paul Perillo: No defense. No running game, nothing.

    Felger: No defense in ’94?

    Paul Perillo: Nothing, nothing.

Felger: No defense in ’94? Was Ty Law not drafted in 94?

    Jim Murray: No. ’95.

    Felger: Willie McGinnis, ’94?

Paul Perillo: McGinnis was a rookie in 9’4.

    Felger: Thank you.

Paul Perillo: So one player, they had a defense?

Felger: Well, i’ll go back and look at it. Slade was probably there.

Mazz: AndWillie McGinest was a bust in ’94.

Felger: McGinnis, Slade, was Malloy there yet?

    Paul Perillo: Nope.

Felger: Otis, my man had to have been there?

    Paul Perillo: Nope.

Felger: Who was the “Swamp Thing”? The other linebacker there with Ted Johnson, his buddy.

    Mazz: Oh, the Undertaker?

    Felger: No, not Vincent Brown.

    Paul Perillo: Todd Collins?

    Felger: Todd Collins was there.

Paul Perillo: Like, these are the guys who you are rattling off?

Felger: Parcells dragged him to the playoffs.

Jim Murray: The running back was Marion Butts. He sucked..

Paul Perillo: Corey Croom, I believe, was the running back in the playoff game.

Felger: Now you’re getting Paul started on a Bledsoe thing.

Paul Perillo: Listen, I’ll end it right where I started it…a lot of flaws to Drew’s game. I loved him, but a lot of flaws to his game. To say that Mac Jones after a year plus is better than Drew Bledsoe is the height of trollism by you.

Felger: I did know you were driving here.
