Are the New England Patriots ready to take a big swing with their offensive coordinator hire? Their latest reported interview suggests that may be the case.
On Sunday morning, Albert Breer of Sports Illustrated reported the Patriots will interview Los Angeles Rams’ pass game coordinator and quarterbacks coach Zac Robinson. Robinson, 37, will meet with head coach Jerod Mayo and the Patriots on Tuesday.

Robinson is viewed as one of the top offensive coordinator candidates league-wide in this coaching cycle. He’s been with the Rams working under Sean McVay since he began coaching in 2019, and was promoted to his current role in 2022.
Prior to getting into coaching, Robinson had a four-year NFL career as a backup quarterback after being drafted by the Patriots in the seventh round in 2010 out of Oklahoma State. In between his playing and coaching careers Robinson worked for PFF as an analyst and as a private quarterbacks coach.
The Patriots aren’t the only team to have Robinson on their interview list. He’s already spoken with the Chicago Bears, and New Orleans Saints.
