Felger: Mazz, tier one. Who do we got?

Mazz: Okay, we’ve got a big development. We’ve trimmed tier one. There used to be four, there are now only three.

    Jim Murray: Circumcised tiers.

Mazz: Kansas City, Philly, Dallas. That’s it for tier one. Those three teams, the Bills are out.

    Jim Murray: Bills drop!

Mazz: Now, let me explain why. The combination of the loss to the Jets and the injury to Josh Allen.

    Felger: Tier two, please.

Mazz: Tier two, Buffalo, Cincinnati, I still believe in the Bengals, they lost that game in Cleveland, but they’re coming around. Watch out for Baltimore, now that they’ve got Roquan Smith in the middle of that defense, watch out.

    Felger: Buffalo, Cincy, Baltimore.

Mazz: Minnesota, which I put in there reluctantly, seven and one.

Jim Murray: You got to do it just because of the record.

    Mazz: Tennessee, Miami, San Francisco.

    Felger: Tier three, please.

Mazz: Tier three. Keep an eye on these teams because there’s some good stories in here. First of all, I moved Tampa Bay up from tier four, significant win last week against the Rams. Let’s see whether or not they can carry it forward. The Jets back up to tier three, six and three team they beat the Bills, give them their due. The Giants, Seattle, Seattle plays Tampa this week big game there that one’s in Germany for some reason.

    Jim Murray: First time ever.

Mazz: And I got the Chargers in tier three, but I did it reluctantly.

Felger: Now we get to tier four and we start to begin to get to the Patriots schedule.

Mazz: Correct. So the Rams are in tier four, they were there last week, they stay there. Patriots, Saints, Arizona, Atlanta, Denver, and bumped up to tier four, the Washington Commanders.

    Felger: Oh, okay.

    Mazz: Tier five.

Felger: Also known as the Patriots schedule. Sorry, I jumped it.

Mazz: Correct. And I moved down to tier five, the Green Bay Packers.

    Felger: Oh, thank you.

    Mazz: They suck.

Felger: Is that still a moral victory? New England.

Mazz: They suck. That’s a bad team.

Felger: How does that one taste now?

Mazz: That is a bad team.

Felger: You couldn’t beat that team?

Jim Murray: That’s a worse loss, is what it is now.

Felger: The Lions beat that team.

Mazz: Indianapolis is in tier five and I think they’re staying there. I don’t think the Colts are coming out of there. Jacksonville actually won last week. Who did they beat Murray?

Jim Murray: They beat the Raiders.

Mazz: The Raiders, right. So I’m not totally down on Jacksonville, but they’re still in tier five and now Vegas is in tier five. Pittsburgh, bye last week. Carolina, Houston, Detroit, Cleveland, all tier five.

Felger: Hold on, Carolina. I need to write it down.

Mazz: Carolina, Houston, Detroit, Cleveland. And I skipped over the Chicago Bears on the list. They’re also in tier five, but I skipped over them because I want to talk about the Bears.

Felger: The bears are in tier five?

Mazz: Right now, but they’re climbing their way out.
