  • Pat Burns – Wins the Stanley Cup in 2003 with New Jersey Devils. It was his first season coaching after being fired by the Boston Bruins in 2001.

    Coco Crisp – The former Boston Red Sox hits a home run off Drew Pomeranz in the 2016 ALDS.

    Tony Pena – The former Boston Red Sox plays a role in eliminating the Red sox from the 1995 playoffs with Cleveland.

    Jimmy Garoppolo – Jimmy G leads the San Francisco 49ers past the New England Patriots in 2020.

  • Lawyer Milloy – Leads Buffalo Bills to a 31-0 victory over the New England Patriots just days after he got cut by the team in 2003.

    Adam Vinatieri – Wins a Super Bowl with the Indianapolis Colts in 2006 after the New England Patriots let him walk in free agency.

  • Bruce Cassidy – The former Boston Bruins bench boss wins a Stanley Cup with the Vegas Golden Knights in his first season after being fired by the club.

    Roger Clemens – The former Boston Red Sox starter strikes out 16 in his return to Fenway Park.

    Joe Thornton – Wins league MVP after being traded from the Boston Bruins mid-season.

    Jon Lester – Wins World Series in 2016 with the Chicago Cubs. Lester signed with the Cubs over his former Red Sox in free agency in  2014.

    Brady also posted his best passer rating (102.2) in three years and threw his highest touchdown total (40) since 2007. But at age 44, can Zo realistically put him ahead of the No. 1 guy?

  • Tom Brady – The former New England Patriots quarterback wins a Super Bowl in his first season with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers after the Patriots let him go to free agency.
