  • Joe Murray's Reaction

But if this thing now bleeds into, I don’t know, joint practices in the preseason and then week one of the NFL. Like, I don’t want to hear the first four weeks are an extension of the preseason. If I hear that the first four weeks of the season are an extension of the preseason I’m going to flip out. Because you just lost more days now. You just lost more days! “Oh, well, you know, based on whether the legal…..” That’s what Belichick is going to do.” “Well, you know, the legal eligibility will vary”. It’s like you have eight days now. That’s all you have. Eight days. Instead of ten, you have eight. Those two days are important. They matter. How many times last year did they hear during joint practices, Kendrick Bourne got in a fight with somebody and they got sent home. And then he got put in the doghouse. Literally. Bill Belichick is still doing anything that he wants. He’s trying to get away with it and he can’t any anymore. That’s what’s happening.”

Felger: Joe Murray last night on the night show, and he was just getting revved up. He played football. Right. Didn’t he play football? Did he play in college?

    Mazz: I don’t know. It’s a good question.

Felger: So like he knows it’s like these coaches drill into you “show up in the offseason” and it’s important and then they get themselves suspended. Now you can’t practice? Especially with these pros they tell you to fly in for these, you know, they’re all somewhere else. Fly in for these days are really important and they get there and it’s like, “oops, we screwed something up”.

  • Felger: Our Big Jim Murray, you tweeted out What?

Jim Murray: The picture of Cartman as Bill Belichick from that old episode where he’s like, “I can do whatever I want. I break the rules”.

Felger: So Joe Murray read the tweet and that led to a whole different thing. Go ahead.

    JOE MURRAY’S RANT

“And I just saw Big Jim Murray’s tweet. I’m Bill, I can do whatever I want! Eric cartman voice”. But, yes, that’s exactly what’s going on still to this day. Still! Bill still thinks he can do whatever he wants. It’s costing the team. I’m going to put Matt Patricia, as the offensive coordinator. It’s still bleeding into the season. The Matt Patricia offensive coordinator thing, the stink may never leave the Patriots. It may stay here forever. MATT PATRICIA STINK. It’s going to be here for a long, long time. It’s going to be here for a long, long time. That’s what it is! Because Bill wanted to be smarter than everybody else. Right? So now let’s cut corners! NO DAYS OFF, NO DAYS OFF! Now you have to be FORCED to take days off! The Matt Patricia deodorant stinks and I am OUT on this. It’s still bleeding through and seeping through and smelling up that locker room.”
