Oh Schedule Day, Oh Schedule Day! The New England Patriots 2024 schedule came out on Thursday, which means it’s time for Felger, Mazz, and Murray to predict the Patriots wins and losses in 2024!
But before we get to the schedule, here are some notes on the teams the Patriots will see in 2024!
The Buffalo Bills have won the AFC East the last four seasons. The Miami Dolphins haven’t won the AFC East since 2008 and the New York Jets haven’t won the Division since 2002.
The Patriots will face the NFC West in the 2024 season. The last time they faced the NFC West was in 2020. They went 1-3 against their NFC West opponents. The Patriots will also face the Chicago Bears in 2024, due to both teams finishing last in their respective divisions in 2023.
The Patriots will face the AFC South in the 2024 season. The 2021 season was the last time they faced the AFC South and they went 3-1 in those games.

The Patriots will play 9 road games in 2024. The longest they will travel will be for games against the San Francisco 49ers and the Arizona Cardinals, both are NFC West opponents.
Since the NFL expanded the schedule to 17 games, each team will play an uneven amount of home and road games. In 2024 the Patriots will play 9 road games and 8 home games. They will play two home games during the preseason and one road game during the preseason. Their preseason opponents will be the Carolina Panthers, Philadelphia Eagles, and Washington Commanders.
Due to also finishing in last place in their respective divisions, the Patriots will face the Cincinnati Bengals and the Los Angeles Chargers.
