The Felger and Mazz Big Board is officially back for the 2024 NFL Draft! With the New England Patriots slated to draft at 3rd overall in this year’s draft, the Big Board will be more important than ever before! Here are the special teamers that were hit on the big board! 

 

But before this year’s selections, here’s a look at who the Big Board has hit on in the past! 

Jake Bequette – Defensive End – Arkansas – 2012 NFL Draft – 3rd round 90th overall 

Aaron Dobson – Wide Receiver – Marshall – 2013 NFL Draft – 2nd round 59th overall 

Jimmy Garoppolo – Quarterback – Eastern Illinois – 2014 NFL Draft- 2nd round 62nd overall

  • Ryan Rehkow – BYU

    Strengths 

    • Four-year punter with brother (Austin Rehkow) who punted in NFL for a spell.
    • Outstanding size with a leg to match.
    • Has the ability to produce better hang time with work.

    Weaknesses

    • Too many line-drive bangers that outpaced his coverage this year.
    • Saw 39 percent of punts returned, per Pro Football Focus, including two for scores in 2023.
    • Might need to expedite his operation time as a pro.

    Here are some strengths and weaknesses courtesy of NFL.com

    Strengths 

    • Possesses deep range of 56-59 yards on tape.
    • Creates momentum into his strikes and generally gains big lift.
    • Made 91.1 percent of his field goals over the last two seasons.

    Weaknesses

    • Must be careful not to overcorrect to the opposite post on kicks from the hash.
    • Failed to make his wind adjustments on 51-yard misses against Arizona.
