With the NFL Combine in the books, the next big step in the pre-draft process is the pro day circuit. After working out for teams collectively in Indianapolis, players will return to their campuses and hold another workout on-site for NFL evaluators. Pro days are also a chance for players who weren’t invited to the Combine to show NFL teams what they can do. In addition, prospects from smaller schools in the area that don’t hold their own pro days may work out with a college nearby.
The entire pro day circuit is about a month long, really picking up in late March. At times, as many as 13 Division-I schools may be holding workouts on the same day. That can test teams’ scouting resources, as they have to decide who to send where.
What are the biggest pro day dates to know? Here’s a look at the schedule over the next month, and some players to watch at each stop.
Note: Player lists by school are not overall attendance, just names to highlight. Also, some bigger schools hold multiple Pro Days, players are only listed for the first date.
