Recap: Bruins at the 2019 NHL Trade Deadline

Recap:
— 3:10 p.m.: According to Joe McDonald, the Bruins have acquired winger Marcus Johansson from the New Jersey Devils. Mike Grinnell of Barstool Sports first reported that the Bruins would be sending second- and fourth-round picks to the Devils. Joe Haggerty of NBC Sports Boston later reported that the second-rounder is in 2019 and the fourth is in 2020.
— 3:05 p.m.: Pierre LeBrun tweets five minutes after the trade deadline that Wayne Simmonds is headed to the Predators.
— 2:51 p.m.: According to Bruce Garrioch of TSN, the Golden Knights have acquired Mark Stone from the Senators in exchange for defenseman Erik Brannstrom (15th overall in 2017 draft), veteran forward Oscar Lindberg, and a second-round pick in 2020.
— 2:14 p.m.: Per Elliotte Friedman, the Vegas Golden Knights are the favorites to land Mark Stone from the Senators. The Predators and Flames were also believed to be talking to Ottawa about a potential deal.
— 1:59 p.m.: According to Michael Russo of The Athletic, the Senators “know where they’re trading Mark Stone”. From there, the market could loosen up for other teams.
— 1:50 p.m.: Per Chris Johnston, the Rangers are trading former Bruins defenseman Adam McQuaid to the Columbus Blue Jackets.
— 1:44 p.m.: Pierre LeBrun of The Athletic with the full details of the Derick Brassard deal:
The full deal: Brassard and a conditional sixth RD pick in 2020 to Colorado in exchange for a third-round pick in 2020. If Brassard re-signs with Colorado, the Avs no longer get the sixth-round pick from Florida.

— 1:32 p.m.: Veteran center Derick Brassard of the Florida Panthers is headed to the Colorado Avalanche in exchange for a third-round pick, per Elliotte Friedman.
— 12:03 p.m.: Via John Shannon of Sportsnet, Mark Stone is not on the ice for the Senators in Monday’s practice. It could be a precautionary move in case the Sens end up trading the winger before the 3 p.m. deadline.
— 12:03 p.m.: Per Chris Johnston of Sportsnet, the Bruins are among five teams believed to be “lurking” in trade talks with the Senators for Mark Stone. The B’s and others are willing to go “down to the wire” with Ottawa to see where the price tag ends up.
— 11:00 a.m.: Per Joe McDonald of The Athletic, Bruins head coach Bruce Cassidy had a “long chat” with center David Krejci before practice. It’s apparently an unusual sight, if McDonald is bothering to report it. There’s nothing else to definitively pull from that, but Krejci’s right wing has been the subject of potential trade acquisitions by the Bruins all season.
— 10:18 a.m.: Per TSN’s Bob McKenzie, the Winnipeg Jets are finalizing a deal to acquire Rangers forward Kevin Hayes. The Bruins had previously been reported as potential suitors for Jimmy Hayes’ younger brother.
— 8:17 a.m.: According to Darren Dreger, the Bruins are still looking at Kings winger Tyler Toffoli as a potential trade target in addition to Wayne Simmonds and Mark Stone.
— Monday, 12:24 a.m.: According to Jim Matheson of the Edmonton Journal, the Bruins view Flyers right wing Wayne Simmonds as their “No. 1 object” but the cost to acquire him could be a first-round pick and a prospect.
— Sunday: According to Pierre LeBrun in The Athletic, the Ottawa Senators “really covet” certain assets in the Bruins organization with an eye toward a potential deal for winger Mark Stone.
