Think there’s a lot to talk about with the Boston Bruins this week?
Ty Anderson and I did our best to cover everything in the newest episode of the Sports Hub Underground podcast, which you can hear above. Click here for all episodes and subscribe options, if you’re interested. Here’s a quick look at the main topics…
— The Bruins are 9-0-1 and coming off arguably their two most impressive wins of the season, against legitimate competition in the conference. We bounce around those games and others in a recap of their week on the ice.
— We re-litigate the whole Tyler Bertuzzi debate. The problem we have is with anyone who thought it would be a good idea to essentially swap Linus Ullmark for Bertuzzi, who is now on the Leafs’ fourth line. It wouldn’t have been good.
— On the Charlie McAvoy hit: I don’t think he had malicious intent of hitting Oliver Ekman-Larsson in the head/face, but he did want to give him a little bump. So, it was a dirty play with reckless disregard for the other guy, so he wasn’t going to get away with that without a suspension, and he didn’t deserve to get away with it.
