Bruins Fall To Panthers 4-2, Will Face Maple Leafs In First Round Of Playoffs
The Boston Bruins failed to capitalize on a chance to take first place in the Eastern Conference in Sunday’s regular season finale against the Florida Panthers at TD Garden. They fell 4-2 in regulation to finish with 112 points – one behind the Tampa Bay Lightning in the Atlantic Division.
As a result, the Bruins will play the Toronto Maple Leafs in the first round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs. The series is expected to start on Thursday night in Boston.
