UPDATE: The Bruins are placing Taylor Hall on long-term injured reserve. So, the injury obviously is more serious than they initially believed. They are also placing Nick Foligno on regular IR.
Bruins forward Taylor Hall isn’t believed to have a serious injury, but his absence will now extend into the team’s return to Boston.
Head coach Jim Montgomery said after Tuesday night’s road win over the Calgary Flames that neither Hall nor Nick Foligno (both lower body injuries) are expected to suit up on Thursday night against the Buffalo Sabres at TD Garden, according to the Boston Globe’s Kevin Paul Dupont on
