For this installment of Belichick 20/20 we visit another classic Brady vs. Manning match up. Belichick and the Patriots fell behind 24-0 at the end of the first half to a Broncos team who forced a turnover on each of the Patriots first three drives. Tom Brady would only throw for 81 yards in the first half; Manning only had 61 passing yards but Knowshon Moreno would carry the load with 107 rushing yards and a TD in the first half. However, Brady would light up the Broncos’ secondary in the second half. Brady completed 24 out of his 33 second half pass attempts for 263 yards and three touchdowns. The Patriots would out score the Broncos 31-7 in the second half and win in overtime on a 31 yard field goal from Gostowski.
