For this installment of Belichick 20/20 we rewind to a January in San Diego where the 12-4 Patriots squared up against the 14-2 San Diego Chargers. The Patriots trailed 14-13 going in to the fourth quarter. Marlon McCree would intercept Tom Brady in the fourth quarter but Troy Brown would force him to fumble on the interception return which would set up a four yard touchdown pass from Tom Brady to Reche Caldwell. Gostkowski would later go on to kick a 31 yard field goal to give the Patriots a 24-21 lead. Phillip Rivers would drive the Chargers from their own 25 to the Patriots 36 in less than a minute but Nate Kaeding would miss a 54 yard field goal, advancing the Patriots to the AFC Championship game.
