What, you thought the Bruins were going to escape their regular season finale without an injury scare?!
And obviously, it had to be captain Patrice Bergeron who ominously exited the Bruins’ 5-4 win over the Montreal Canadiens early on Thursday night. The Bruins tweeted that Bergeron had an upper body injury, and did add that his exit was “precautionary,” which probably eased a lot of concerns for onlookers. But those fears weren’t going to totally dissipate until head coach Jim Montgomery gave an update after the game.
