McAvoy scores in overtime to lift Bruins to win over Blues
Charlie McAvoy scored twice, including the game-winning goal in overtime, for the Bruins on Saturday night, as they ended their recent road trip on a high note with a 4-3 victory over the St. Louis Blues at the Enterprise Center. The win snapped a three-game losing streak for the B’s.
After going 17 games without a goal, McAvoy now has three goals in his last five games and five points in his last six. Brad Marchand also scored twice, finishing the road trip with four goals in as many games,
