Highlights: Jake DeBrusk’s overtime winner pushes Bruins over Columbus
A pair of goals from Jake DeBrusk, including the overtime winner scored off a slick dish from Hampus Lindholm, pushed the Bruins to their second win over the Blue Jackets in three days Monday night at Nationwide Arena.
The goals extended DeBrusk’s goal-scoring streak to five games, which is now tied for the longest of his career, and his first since a five-game scoring run back in Feb. 2019.
In addition to a pair of tallies from DeBrusk, the Bruins got a goal from Craig Smith, which was good for his 16th goal of the season, and his 10th in his last 14 games.
Linus Ullmark got the call in net for the Bruins, and finished with 20 saves for his 22nd win of the season. Ullmark has now earned points in six straight starts, too, with a 5-0-1 record over that stretch.
The Bruins did, however, suffer a pair of in-game losses up front with both Trent Frederic and David Pastrnak leaving this contest ahead of DeBrusk’s overtime winner.
The B’s will face the Red Wings on Tuesday night.
