Swayman posts 30-save shutout in Bruins’ road win over Senators
The Bruins remain significantly shorthanded, but still got back on track with a 2-0 road win over the Ottawa Senators on Saturday at the Canadian Tire Centre.
Jeremy Swayman made 30 saves for his second shutout of the season, and fourth in 28 career starts. The B’s are now 1-1 in two games without Patrice Bergeron (head injury) and Brad Marchand (suspension).
The Bruins (27-16-3, 57 points) now get two days off before getting back to action on Tuesday, when they face the New York Rangers at Madison Square Garden.
