Turns out Charlie Coyle doesn’t need an ice surface to put the puck in the net.

Watch Coyle score an incredible goal against the Dallas Stars below, his 16th of the season to tie Thursday’s game 1-1. Torey Krug fired from the point and it bounced right to Coyle, who tips it just enough to get a real baseball swing on it into the net. Outrageous.

Coyle’s goal evened up the game after the Stars’ Jamie Benn opened the scoring on a power play of their own. The Bruins and Stars headed to the second period knotted at one goal apiece.
