On Monday's edition of Zolak & Bertrand, Marc Bertrand explained why the Patriots could still be in on Lamar Jackson.

Why there may be "no market" for Lamar Jackson...

Marc Bertrand: If the Patriots are looking for Lamar Jackson, they are going to do their best to make sure that no one knows about it. So the idea that, oh, you know, well, it's been a few days now since you've been legally allowed to contact Lamar Jackson, you're not hearing anything. There must be no market. I would not go that far because I wouldn't say that about Lamar Jackson for the reason of other teams' quarterback situations. If Miami was calling Lamar Jackson right now. Right? Are they going to let it out? Are they going to want it out there?

Scott Zolak: No, no, no, no. I'm with you on this.

Marc Bertrand: They're going to operate as quietly as possible because they know if it doesn't work out, they still need Tua (Tagovailoa) to be their guy. The Patriots still need Mac Jones to be their guy if they can't land Lamar Jackson. And that would be true of any team that's got some semblance of a quarterback, even though they might want to upgrade.
Scott Zolak: Let me ask you this. If they are interested, meaning New England and they would potentially bring Lamar Jackson here, what do you do with Mac Jones? Do you move Mac Jones?

Marc Bertrand: If you can? Yes. If you can't, you sit him.

Scott Zolak: I don't see how they coexist.
