Lamar Jackson can change the narrative
Marc Bertrand: Yes, Tom Brady, greatest of all-time, had inherent ability when he came to the Patriots that had been untapped. That's why he was a sixth round pick. Great. Lamar Jackson, really good player, but never was a winner in Baltimore. Had a hard time staying on the field, had issues with the team, went to New England under Bill (Belichick). Yeah, he was MVP caliber and he became a winner there because of B ill. And so I think the more you think about that, Lamar Jackson represents an opportunity for Bill to have a good quarterback again, but also enhance that coaching legacy that he has. Lamar Jackson in some ways is untapped. Lamar Jackson has not reached his heights. If he were to do it with Bill, Bill gets a ton of credit for it.
