First, they teamed up to win banner 17. Now, former Celtics greats Paul Pierce and Kevin Garnett might be coming together to produce a new podcast.

Nothing is definite right now, but one of the two has been flaunting the idea on Twitter recently. On Thursday, Pierce sent out this tweet:

Pierce is, of course, referring to himself, who was nicknamed “The Truth,” and Garnett, who went by “The Big Ticket.” The two played together for six seasons in Boston, most notably winning the 2008 NBA championship.

Spending that much time together and being as close as those two were, there's bound to be some amazing stories they could tell. There has already been plenty of reporting throughout the years about some inside scoops, like how Pierce threw up on the duck boat during the victory parade, or how Garnett bought the entire team custom suits while in Italy. However, there must be more insight that Pierce and Garnett themselves could provide.

Pierce’s tweet received some major attention. On an average tweet, The Truth receives around 1,000 likes. But on Thursday, Pierce got over 16,000. It’s safe to say the Celtics fans would like to see this podcast come together. The poll below is at over 86 percent "yes":

Celtics media, fans, and former players have come flocking to Pierce’s Twitter account. That includes two-time NBA champion Cedric Maxwell, who replied, “Come on truth. Told the 'podfather' of us legends to text u. Come join us bruh.”

Both guys have experience in the media and podcasting. Pierce was previously an NBA analyst for ESPN, while Garnett has worked with TNT. Plus, they were both recent guest hosts on the Celtics’ View From the Rafters podcast.
