Rob Gronkowski's status for the 2018 season may be a mystery, but his workout spot apparently isn't.

The NFL Network's Ian Rapoport tweeted on Monday that Gronkowski has been spending time this offseason working out at the TB12 Sports Therapy Center at Patriot Place in Foxboro. While that does nothing to confirm whether or not the tight end is playing football next season, it's certainly a great sign for the Patriots that he's staying close to Tom Brady and the team.

Rumors have run rampant since Super Bowl LII, many of them fueled by Gronkowski himself. He's been sending out cryptic tweets that raised questions about whether he'd retire from football to pursue a career in WWE. The latest report is that he remains undecided about his football future.

Another good sign is that the Patriots reportedly haven't shown any interest in high-priced free-agent tight ends like Jimmy Graham and Trey Burton, according to Jeff Howe of the Boston Herald.

Still, the news about Gronkowski's time at TB12 doesn't necessarily mean he's playing next season. And if he's not, Bill Belichick won't necessarily spring for a free agent in order to try and replace him.
