Beetle: Linus Ullmark showed he can carry the Bruins

On Tuesday's edition of Zolak & Bertrand, Beetle thinks Linus Ullmark showed he can carry the Bruins in Game 1 against the Panthers.

Marc Bertrand: The goaltender was not sick at all, it appeared. I guess the stomach bug for him was not much of a thing because he was great and I thought last night that answered any of those questions about will Linus' regular season performance carry over into the playoffs. Really small sample size in the past for him, of having just played in two games. Last night he was terrific. I mean, the Panthers led the Bruins in shots, shots on net the high-danger opportunities scoring chances. They had plenty of opportunity in this game. And the Bruins goalie to me was proving in the first game of this playoff run that he can carry this team. Which is a question you always have, whether you need to have that question or not. Can the goalie carry them? Can the goalie steal games? Last night felt like maybe not a steal of a game, but a really strong effort that was a big part of the win for the Bruins based on the way he played last night. He was terrific.
