There have been many changes in Boston sports the last few years. The Bruins moved on from Bruce Cassidy who went on to win the Stanley cup. Jim Montgomery took over and had the greatest regular season in NHL history yet got bounced in the first round of the playoffs.

The Red Sox over promise and under deliver constantly to the fan base. Alex Cora is in the final year of his contact and the team traded Alex Verdugo to the Yankees and sent wild series champion Chris Sale to Atlanta.

The Patriots fired Bill Belichick after after 24 seasons and 6 Super Bowl Championships. Jerod Mayo takes over and his big shoes to fill and a lot of confidence from ownership. The team will need a new quarterback and have the 3rd overall pick in the draft.

The Celtics moved on from their longest tenured player and fan favorite Marcus Smart. The season before they moved in from Ime Udoka who coached the team to the NBA finals with Joe Mazzulla taking over and losing a game 7 at home to Miami. The additions of Kristaps Porzingis and Jrue Holliday make the Celtics the favorites to win the championship.

The New England Revolution had their own turmoil this year. The team lost their goaltender and then moved on from Bruce Arena while managing problems in the locker room.

How would you rank the owners in Boston?

1. Wyc Grousbech - Celtics

2. Robert Kraft - Patriots

3. Jeremy Jacobs - Bruins

4. John Henry - Red Sox

The defense for the Red Sox is that they have won championships with the latest in 2018. The Bruins have spent to the salary cap but haven’t won anything since 2011.

Both are absentee owners and the Bruins did choose Don Sweeney and Cam Neely over Bruce Cassidy. The team has young prospects and veterans and are still considered a threat. The Red Sox are mocked for not spending money or being not having good players. That’s why they are ranked worst in town.
