Sports Hub Underground: CONCERNS! For every team in the AFC East
(Click here to subscribe to the Sports Hub Underground podcast.)
The New England Patriots are not without their own concerns for the 2023 season. Is the offensive line ever going to get healthy or hold up? Is Mac Jones good enough to overcome their flaws and win them games? Do they have enough weapons?
But, guess what? The Patriots aren’t the only team with flaws, questions, or CONCERNS! Which is why I’ve taken it upon myself to remind fans (and, frankly, some of the media) that the Patriots aren’t alone. That other teams, particularly in the AFC East, have concerns of their own.
Just because the Patriots aren’t perfect right now doesn’t mean the effing Jets or Dolphins are perfect. The Jets’ own offensive line appears to be in shambles, and their head coach might be SOFT. The Dolphins, meanwhile, had an injury scare for their left tackle and their own pass protection problems.
The Bills?! Josh Allen is getting in fights. Stefon Diggs is unhappy. One of their tackles just straight-up retired. Clearly means Sean McDermott has lost control, he and Allen and Diggs all hate each other, and the window is closing on them. Am I doing this right?
Anyway, that’s a big part of the discussion on the newest episode of the Sports Hub Underground podcast, which you can listen to in the above player. But first, we discuss the retirement of Bruins center David Krejci and the signing of Harvard forward John Farinacci, and what it means for the B’s going forward.
