The New England Patriots have made a change on their practice squad roster Tuesday, releasing offensive lineman Jordan Roos and replacing him with offensive lineman Jordan Steckler.

Steckler arrives to Foxborough after spending summer with the New Orleans Saints as a rookie free agent. Released by the Saints prior to the start of the regular season, Steckler turned pro after a four-year collegiate career that featured 47 appearances (43 starts) at Northern Illinois University.

The 6-foot-5, 305-pound lineman bounced around every o-line position but center during his run with the Huskies, and was a First-Team All-MAC selection at right tackle in 2019.

Roos, meanwhile, departs the organization after signing with New England on Oct. 1. The 27-year-old, who bounced around the Seahawks to the Raiders before landing with the Pats, has appeared in 14 career games with Seattle.

The Patriots will get back to work Wednesday in preparation for what feels like a must-win against the division-leading Buffalo Bills, who hold a two and a half game lead over the Patriots at 5-2 compared to New England's 2-4 record.
