Patriots quarterback Tom Brady, fresh off his sixth Super Bowl and going through the grind of yet another training camp, had no time for chirps from Titans head coach Mike Vrabel regarding Brady's speed to the practice field.

Like an old married couple... or teammates of five seasons during New England's first dynasty of the 21st century.

It's not hard to see that Brady is obviously messing with an old teammate and vice versa. I mean, the smile on Brady's face while he continues to walk at the same speed -- perhaps even a little bit slower -- is the giveaway there. But it's also a reminder that at this point of his career, New England's GOAT will walk at whatever pace he damn well pleases on what was a stupidly hot Wednesday in Vrabel's backyard.

But Brady and the Patriots -- still coached by Bill Belichick, who coached Vrabel throughout the linebacker's time in New England -- are clearly appreciative of the way the Tennessee coach has handled a visit from his former team this week.

"I have a ton of respect for Mike as a person, as a coach," Belichick said of the second-year Titans coach. "He's been a friend for a long time and obviously did a great job last year in the game we played him. We really got handled down here. He's got an excellent staff and I'm sure that he's teaching these guys a lot of football. He was really smart player, a very fundamental player, so I'm sure that you can see those strengths in the way he coaches his team."

The joint practices will culminate with a Saturday night preseason head-to-head in Nashville.
