Toucher & Hardy: Patriots are having a GOOD free agency so far
On the first day of free agency, the New England Patriots made several moves to reshape their roster.
They brought back Jalen Reagor on a one-year deal and signed linebacker Sione Takitaki. Veteran quarterback Jacoby Brissett returned on a one-year contract worth $8 million. They also re-signed offensive lineman Mike Onwenu to a three-year, $57 million deal. On the departure side, linebacker Mack Wilson Sr. agreed to a three-year deal with the Arizona Cardinals. Additionally, they added veteran running back Antonio Gibson on a three-year contract worth $11.25 million. However, they released wide receiver DeVante Parker, incurring $6.3 million in dead cap money.
