Joe Murray denies derailing a recent mandatory web meeting because he was late while accusing Toucher & Rich of lying!

Last week during a corporate-mandated virtual meeting, Joe’s late arrival prompted an unexpected turn of events when Joe asked the presenter to recap everything discussed in the meeting up to that point, which was denied.
The guys poked fun at Joe’s request, suggesting that he seemed rather self-involved and oblivious to the inconvenience he was causing for the other participants. Joe’s question to start the presentation over for his benefit drew a mix of reactions from the meeting attendees, with some likely feeling quite exasperated.
During his show on Friday night, Joe disputed he derailed the meeting.
“And I guess the way that they (Toucher & Rich) presented the story is wrong. So now everyone thinks that I interrupted a meeting, which I didn’t do. And now people are calling in, saying, “Hey, Joe, I missed the first 20 minutes of your show. Can you recap what I missed?”
Joe Murray was named the full-time nighttime host at 98.5 The Sports Hub back in June. Murray, a Hyde Park native and Connecticut School of Broadcasting graduate (like me), had served with the Sports Hub in a part-time and weekend role since 2013. He had been a frequent fill-in and third voice on the Toucher and Rich morning program and co-hosted the OverUnder985 gambling podcast, among other contributions.
