Patriots list eight players on Friday injury report
The Patriots and Bills both turned in minimal injury reports for the second straight day, heading into their matchup in Buffalo on Monday. New England listed just eight players, while Buffalo had five.
For the Patriots, there were no changes from Thursday’s report. Running back Brandon Bolden (knee), wide receiver Gunner Olszewski (ankle), center David Andrews (shoulder), tackle Trent Brown (calf), defensive lineman Christian Barmore (knee), linebackers Dont’a Hightower (ankle) and Ja’Whaun Bentley (ribs), and kicker Nick Folk (left knee) were all limited.
There was also no resolution on the Patriots’ two players on COVID reserve. Running back J.J. Taylor and safety Kyle Dugger both missed practice for the second straight day.
For Buffalo, wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders(veteran rest) was the lone non-participant in practice. Wide receiver Cole Beasley returned after getting a rest day on Thursday, while fullback Reggie Gilliam (ankle) was upgraded to limited. Defensive tackle Star Lotulelei (illness) and linebacker Matt Milano (shoulder) were also limited, and tackle Cody Ford (bicep) was a full participant.
Because of the extra day built into the Monday night game, both teams are expected to hold practice again on Saturday. Game statuses should be released starting Saturday afternoon.
