Tuukka Rask deemed unfit to play, won’t be available vs. Flyers

Bruins head coach Bruce Cassidy confirmed on Sunday that goaltender Tuukka Rask has been deemed unfit to play and will not suit up against the Flyers.

Bruins head coach Bruce Cassidy confirmed on Sunday that goaltender Tuukka Rask has been deemed unfit to play and will not suit up against the Philadelphia Flyers.

“Unfit to participate, feeling better," Cassidy said. "Not going to play today. Hopefully he gets back out on the ice real soon.”

Rask was previously considered a game time decision after coming down with an illness on Saturday.

Jaroslav Halak will start for the Bruins in goal against the Flyers, with Daniel Vladar backing him up.
