Buckle up: Brad Marchand officially joins Instagram

This should be fun. Bruins winger Brad Marchand has officially joined Instagram after years of mastering the art of trolling people on Twitter.
Marchand told his followers earlier this week that he would be joining the popular social network, which focuses more on sharing photos and videos than the humorous jabs fired within Twitter’s 280-character confines.
Check out his first Instagram photo below, of his wife Katrina and their two kids:
Marchand’s first post carries the following caption: “Welcome to my Instagram Page where I will share with you personal life from my family, job, passions, hobbies and humor. I hope this allows everyone to get to know me on more of a personal level. Thank you to everyone for the support throughout the years and allowing me to live out my life long dreams of playing in the NHL. For my first post I thought I should thank the ones who support me most on a day to day basis and who have given me a whole new appreciation and love for the game! My family!”
The post indicates that you’ll be getting more of this, rather than the shenanigans he’s gotten into on Twitter. But he did promise that he’ll continue to show off his endearing sense of humor, which has led to some hilarious back-and-forth interactions with his teammates, media members, and others.
Instagram offers a new range of possibilities with the focus on photos and videos. So we can reasonably expect Marchand to mess around a good amount here, too, in addition to giving more glimpses into his personal life.
