The Celtics will have at least two reps on Team USA at the 2024 Olympics.

The NBA-best Boston Celtics will be one of just three NBA teams to have multiple players wearing a USA jersey at the 2024 Olympics in Paris, according to multiple reports.
In separate stories reported by both ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski and The Athletic's Shams Charania, both Jayson Tatum and Jrue Holiday have made the initial roster for USA Basketball's bid for a five-peat this summer.
Tatum and Holiday were both on the U.S. team that won gold in Japan in 2020.
An undeniable superstar talent, Tatum's second Olympic nod comes on the heels of a regular season that saw Tatum average at least 26 points per game for the fourth straight season. Tatum's 26.9 points per game in 2023-24 ranked seventh among all NBA scorers, while his 229 made three-point attempts ranked eighth among all shooters.
Holiday, meanwhile, has thrived in his first year with the Celtics, and set single-season career-bests in rebounds per game (5.4) and three-point percentage (42.9 percent) in 69 games with the Celtics this season.

In addition to the Tatum-Holiday, the Phoenix Suns will also have multiple players on Team USA between Kevin Durant and Devin Booker, while the Lakers will have two reps with both LeBron James and Anthony Davis named to the roster.
It is also worth noting that Team USA has left one spot open for their '24 roster.
A strong playoff run (one that Boston hopes ends in a championship) from the Celtics' Jaylen Brown could potentially put him on their radar. Brown's lone international run with the United States came back in 2019 during the FIBA World Cup.
The 2024 Olympics Games are currently scheduled to begin on July 26 and run through Aug. 11, 2024.
