Patriots and Tom Brady’s agent expected to meet this week at NFL Combine

#BradyWatch is heating up, and for real this time.
According to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, Patriots representatives are expected to meet with Tom Brady’s agent Don Yee at the NFL Combine this week in Indianapolis.
It will be the first known meeting between the two camps since the end of the Patriots’ season on January 4. Previous reports have indicated no deal is expected for Brady before the legal tampering period opens on March 16. However, both camps will have their chance to lay out the expectations should a deal be reached.
For Yee/Brady, that could include wanting a multi-year offer or the Patriots significantly improving the offensive weapons on the roster. Meanwhile for the Patriots, the groundwork could be a flexible contract that shifts money to the back end, like the one Brady played under last season.
While it’s highly unlikely Brady could sign this week, the meeting could mean any rumors from this point forward will actually have some substance to them.
