For the second day in a row, there was a lot of tight coverage by the defensive backs. Mac Jones was forced to pull the ball down in several team periods. It looked to me like Joe Judge was calling the plays in the 7-on-7 with Matt Patricia calling them, with the aid of Bill Belichick, in the team periods. One thing that stood out to me again today was running back/receiver/returner Ty Montgomery. He’s sort of playing his way into being a part of this offense. I don’t want to call him a lock yet for the roster, but right now if I had to project a roster, Ty Montgomery is on it for Week 1.
