New England Patriots

On Thursday’s edition of Zolak & Bertrand, former Patriots and Colts kicker Adam Vinatieri told us that he’s been thinking about his Hall of Fame candidacy.

  • How can you not?

Marc Bertrand: Have you thought about the possibility of going into the Hall of Fame? Has it crossed your mind?

Adam Vinatieri: Yeah. I mean, yes. I mean, anybody that says no is probably making stuff up. You know, at this point, I feel like my resumé with all-time leading scorer and most field goals in a row and Super Bowls and this and that. I feel like at least at this point, I should be maybe talked about a little bit hopefully and if it happens, I’ll be ecstatic. What an honor. I just, I laugh because there’s so many great guys that have played that have been on lousy teams and never had the opportunity to play in Super Bowls and stuff and they get overlooked because of that. And I guess I’m just blessed that I played for good teams and had unbelievable teammates.
