After going just 9-for-42 from beyond the arc in their 109-94 loss to the Knicks on Monday night, Celtics head coach Joe Mazzulla joined Zolak & Bertrand and talked about why he actually liked what he saw from his team despite the poor shooting night.

  • Mazzulla on poor shooting: "I love that about them"

    “I actually love that about them. And I think it’s important that they have that mindset. And I think that’s something that we’ve gotten better at as a team is, you can’t be discouraged by getting great shots. And I actually applaud our team in the Knicks game for I thought we continued to execute and I thought we continued to get great looks. And sometimes it’s not your night. And we do have to find other ways to win when we’re not shooting the ball well. But I think it’s important that we maintain a level of confidence and aggressiveness in our shooting, even when it’s not going well.”
