Ty Anderson joined Jim Murray and Joe Murray to give his thoughts on some forwards he thinks the Bruins should be attempting to acquire at the upcoming NHL Trade Deadline on March, 3rd.

Ty Anderson: You know, in terms of forwards, you’re probably looking at guys that are more depth pieces. I would think a guy who would make sense for them is Ivan Barbashev of out of St Louis. He can play left wing, right wing. He can play some center, not particularly great in terms of face offs, but you saw him in St. Louis in 2019. He actually played for Jim Montgomery last year when Montgomery was the assistant in St Louis and had a career year. He had 60 points, I believe. I want to say I want to say 26 goals around there, 23 goals suspended in that finals, He was the one that delivered a hit to I think Johansson that knocked Johansson for a little bit. So that’s a guy I circle then you have depth options you know kind of like a Nick Bonino a Sam Lafferty on Chicago. You know, it kind of takes a drop.

  • Ty Anderson: Like there’s there was a lot of high end centers and now they’re kind of all gone or they’re not on the market anymore. So I look at names like that, a name that would intrigued me though I don’t think that they are selling is Nashville, Nino Neiderreiter is a guy who signed a two year deal so he has a another year after there’s 3 million. That makes it hard for the Bruins I think we all acknowledge. But a guy who I’ve always really liked his game he was good in Carolina. Oh and he’s great inside Ice which is an area that this team kind of struggles in, especially in the playoffs. So I would like that. I don’t know how realistic that is, but that’s a name I look at and say, I if you could make that happen, I’d make that call.
