Zolak & Bertrand

On Friday’s edition of Zolak & Bertrand, Ty Anderson joined us to discuss the chances of a Milan Lucic reunion in Boston.

  • Lucic wants to be here...

Marc Bertrand: I’ve seen people suggest that Milan Lucic should be a target of the Bruins.

Ty Anderson: Did you see his wife’s comments?

Marc Bertrand: No, I did not.

Ty Anderson: So there was a thing going around on Instagram. Some Flames blogger account tweeted or posted is it possible for the Flames to move Milan Lucic by the deadline and his wife commented, “Bring him home” with the bear emoji.

Marc Bertrand: Oh man. So he wants it. That’s pretty obvious. I’m sure they’d like to, I guess, come back to Boston. Think they enjoyed their time here. Good vibes. Is that for real, though, or is that just, you know, social media chatter and his wife suggesting it?

Ty Anderson: I think that he’d like to be back home. I think that when you reunite the band and you don’t have him as part of it, I think there’s like that… because the Flames stink. You saw that game on Tuesday. They had a thousand shots and they could they could not win the game. Like that is not a fun atmosphere, I don’t think to be a part of. I think he’d welcome a change back home. But I don’t know A, how you make that happen, B, if it’s worth it in 2023 unfortunately.
