It was Day 2 of joint practices between the Patriots and the Panthers in Foxboro on Wednesday. Although the day was highlighted yet again by a pair of tussles between the two teams, there were other standout performances on practice fields down at Gillette.

This is the second day in a row that multiple fights have broken out between the two teams, resulting in players getting kicked out.

Bailey Zappe got extended work and scuffled, especially in two-minute situations. Finished 7-for-17 in 11s.Mac Jones capped his two-minute drive by hitting DeVante Parker for a TD between Jeremy Chinn and Keith Taylor. Then hit Ty Montgomery on a speed out for the 2-pt conversion.

Mills has looked like a genuine shutdown CB in training camp.Much more even today with maybe a slight edge to Carolina in some periods. But both teams made plays. #Patriots passing game had moments of downfield success, run game still iffy, and thought the pass coverage for Pats was competitive. Strong day for Mills again.
