The mystery of DeAndre Hopkins’ visit with the Patriots has been revealed.

On Monday morning, Patriots head coach Bill Belichick was evasive answering a question about when Hopkins would be visiting with the Patriots this week (“I’m not a travel agent”). Just over a day later, we finally got the answer to that question.

  • As first reported on NFL Network, Hopkins will travel to New England on Wednesday. His visit with the team will take place on Wednesday and Thursday.

    That’s right. A two-day visit.

  • Typically, free agent visits are single day events. However, it seems like the Patriots want as much time with Hopkins as possible. That could be a sign that they’re serious about trying to sign him.

As things stand now, Hopkins doesn’t have any visits scheduled after the Patriots. According to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport he has “a lot of teams interested,” but nothing else concrete has developed to this point.
