Jayson Tatum came up short once again in his rematch with the Golden State Warriors, as the defending champions continued their recent success against the Boston Celtics with a 123-107 win on Saturday night. Tatum scored 18 points on just 6-of-21 shooting, while Jaylen Brown came to play with 31 points on 13-of-23 from the floor.
Despite Tatum’s shooting struggles, the Celtics had no answer for Steph Curry or Klay Thompson defensively, either. Curry and Thompson combined for 66 points on 26-of-47 shooting (55.3 percent), including 10-of-22 from three-point range.
