New England Patriots

  • With the Patriots playing on Monday night this week, the first injury report of the week comes on Thursday, not Wednesday. On their initial injury report of the week, the Patriots have 11 players listed.

Of those 11, wide receiver Nelson Agholor (hamstring) was the lone non-participant. That seems like a step back for Agholor, who was limited all of last week after leaving the Detroit game early. Despite practicing to some extend during the week, he was inactive against the Browns.

  • Running back Damien Harris (hamstring), who was also injured during the Detroit game, was listed as a full participant. This comes just a week after it was reported he is expected to miss “multiple games.” Harris was limited throughout the week last week, and also didn’t dress for the Browns game.

Of the nine players that are limited, wide receiver Kendrick Bourne (toe), guard Mike Onwenu (ankle), and tackle Isaiah Wynn (shoulder) are new additions. Bourne and Wynn both didn’t finish Sunday’s game.

  • Mac Jones (ankle) leads the group of players listed as limited that had the same statuses as last week. It was reported earlier on Thursday that Jones – who has missed the last three games – is expected to be available Monday night. The other limited players were tight end Jonnu Smith (ankle), defensive linemen Christian Barmore (knee) and Lawrence Guy (shoulder), linebacker Josh Uche (hamstring) and cornerback Jonathan Jones (ankle).

Two players are not listed after appearing on the injury report last week. Wide receiver Jakobi Meyers and linebacker Raekwon McMillan appear to be trending in the right direction.

As for the Bears, they didn’t list anybody on Thursday’s injury report. They’re coming off their ‘mini-bye week,’ having last played on Thursday Night Football.
