  • On Wednesday, the Patriots and Packers both released their first injury reports of the week. Both teams had two players each not in attendance, with other key players limited.

Quarterback Mac Jones (ankle) didn’t practice, as Bill Belichick said would be the case earlier in the day. Defensive lineman Lawrence Guy (shoulder) was the only other player not spotted at the portion of practice open to the media, and the only other non-participant on the injury report.

  • Eight players were limited for the Patriots, including wide receiver Jakobi Meyers (knee) and safety Kyle Dugger (knee). Both Meyers and Dugger were seen at practice last week but then listed as non-participants, and neither ended up playing on Sunday.

Offensive tackle Yodny Cajuste (thumb) is the only player listed on Wednesday who didn’t appear on the report last week. The other limited players on Wednesday were defensive lineman Davon Godchaux (back), linebacker Raekwon McMillan (thumb), cornerback Jalen Mills (hamstring), and safeties Joshuah Bledsoe (groin) and Adrian Phillips (ribs). Cody Davis was removed from the injury report.

For the Packers, offensive linemen Elgton Jenkins (knee) and Caleb Jones (illness) didn’t participate in practice. Green Bay had a number of starters limited including running back AJ Dillon (knee), wide receivers Allen Lazard (ankle) and Christian Watson (hamstring), tight end Marcedes Lewis (groin), tackle David Bakhtiari (knee), and cornerback Jaire Alexander (groin).
